  Fictionalism is a series of pieces I worked on from 2017 to 2020. It is inspired by the concept in mathematics by the same name, which states that numbers do not have any physical manifestation, that numbers only exist as an abstraction created by humans to distill real-world events, or aspects of the physical universe, down to specific ideas. The goal of which is a deeper understanding of the physical world.
  
  How does that get applied to music? Through the distillation and recontextualization of real-world events in sound. Every part of Fictionalism is an acoustic field recording. Every sound has been stripped from it's context and given a new truth, the goal of which is a greater fiction.
  
  This is a CDr in custom packaging. The packaging is made of two laser cut pieces of bamboo plywood with a chipboard hinge and yarn latch, all hand assembled.
